Types of keyboards
Today, computer manufacturers offer a wide variety of keyboards that differ both in design and functionality
Modern keyboards are designed ergonomically, meaning they take into account the anthropometric characteristics of the human hand: each finger is assigned keys that are most comfortable for it to reach without the need to aim
Some keyboards, such as the Microsoft Natural Keyboard, offer extensive adjustment options, including a split layout in the central (letter) section and a special shape designed to provide a more natural wrist position above the keys. However, such a keyboard makes sense only if you type frequently and already use the touch ten-finger typing method. In other cases, it provides little ergonomic benefit
Whether or not you have an ergonomic keyboard, it is important to be able to type without looking at the keyboard, since typing with one finger while constantly moving your head back and forth gives the impression of minimal computer proficiency, even if this is not actually the case
